Pope Saint John Paul ll

believed strongly in evangelization by the lay people and also strongly believed in the use of television and radio in this evangelization work.

                                                                                                                August 7, 2017

We have finally received all of the parts to satellite dish. As I mentioned before, the original shipment was damaged.  Now we have to do the assembly and installation at a different location. We can no longer install the dish on the roof of the center due to the weight.  We have access to a small building across the street from the studio and believe this will be an ideal spot.

Pat Crosby will take on the task of assembly and installation of the satellite dish. He does need some volunteers to accomplish this.

We will contract out to one of our station supporters, Berkeley Properties, to install the dish on the building.

I am continually amazed as some of the “Miracle Moments I listen to on Relevant Radio. People call in almost daily telling their story of coming back to the faith and even total conversion after listening to Relevant Radio. Now their Website,, has a smattering of these stories posted for you to read. Some will bring tears to our eyes. Most of the people just were turning their radio dial looking for something interesting and came across a station broadcasting Relevant Radio. The most popular program for some wonderful stories is The Drew Mariani Show when he does the Divine Mercy Chaplet. It is great to hear so many people call in and tell how their prayers have been answered. Go ahead and give it a look. Go to the website and click on “Your Stories”. You will be delighted to hear how your donations are making a major difference in people’s lives. In some cases you are even saving lives.

On another topic - we are still looking for back-up technical support to operate our station. Good training will be provided. Call me at 304 258 9189.

If you missed a local show, take advantage of our local programming available for listening or downloading from Sound Cloud on the Internet. Type, or copy and paste, the web address below into your search engine and listen to some of the programs you may have missed or you may wish to hear again.

Thanks to Sound Cloud you can sit at home and listen to any talk. Go to the website listed above and then stroll down to the Teri’s Tea Time talk as well as many of Father Leonard’s homilies and Father Jack’s Semper Fi Show.

WDTF is supported only by donations. We do not receive support from the diocese. A detailed list of our expenditures is available upon request. No one receives compensation. Please pray for our mission and be as generous as you can.
